Weekely magazine from Jung group of news papers has changed its layout. I know change is good and specially in mass media sector if you do not change it can be a death sentence. But the question being “are all change good change”?,In the case of MAG I guess not. MAG established itselve as a galmarous magazine with focus on fashion and entertainment. Every week we saw a pretty Pakistani girl and some times boys on the cover wearing latest trends featuring Pakistani designers. But now it look like a cheap tabliod from the street focusing on bollywood stars and their activities. It was bad enough that our electronic media was copying their style of dramas and movies now the print media that also a prestigious news group started to do the same. I believe in Pakistan, the land of creative minds but why we no longer using it?
Don’t get me wrong I have nothing against India and their Industry but don’t we have any substance on our own? Pakistani designers are not lacking behind, we have models, actors and other talented personals from entertainment industry then why we need Sharukh’s or Kareena’s face to sell a pakistani MAG now?
I am an old subscriber of Mag. When I was in Pakitan I got it every week and when I moved here I get my PAK entertainment fix from their website. But now I don’t know..it has lost its charm.

Yes there are lots of Pakistani models, actors and various showbiz celebs, but they all lead boring uneventful lifestyles that do no make the news. How many times can you talk about Reema's last stupid comment, or how resham exposed too much?
