The MADNESS Has Begun!

March Madness...some upsets in conference championships so far..Xavier, Arizona, Texas and Stanford all facing upsets..

I am betting this will be an amazing march..

Counting down to the tourney kick off...

maybe we should do a GS bracket :D

Can you please enlighten Brits like me as to what exactly are you talking about.

It’s a bunch of American silliness glorifying college kid sports - these kids who can dunk basketballs but cannot read and write too well. :rotfl: :hehe:

I can't wait till the NCAA tourney, Texas may have lost the BIG XII but the NCAA title is still up for grabs.

ehsan

in march the NCAA college basketball tournament starts which is a single elimination tourney with 4 brackets of top teams in the country. To get in the tournament the teams have to win their own conferences (leagues) or have really good records that year.

dunking is not the only thing about basketball. just like sixers are not the only thing about cricket.

whereas there have been issues with all college atheletics, not just basketball, but plenty of college players who dont go pro do well because contrary to popular belief majority of these atheletes are not dumb jocks.

The West seems to be the toughest region this time around. It has Arizona, Duke and Kansas, who all had claims to be #1 seed late in the season.

First round set to begin MArch 20-21.

Complete Bracket

I think the final 4 will be between Kentucky, Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma.

oh no man...Kansas is always a threat to anyone at any given time. they are not among the top 5 teams of all times for no reason ya know :)

go phogyy!!!!!

Damn man! this dumbass Bush gonna ruin the tournament!

If war begins this week, NCAA might postpone games

March Madness

UCONN in sweet 16..did anyone watch arizona vs. gonzaga? what a game...i think this college basketball tournament is the best

all 4 big east teams can be in super 16

I was distracted a bit but I did manage to see part of the Arizona game. It was one of the best games ever in NCAA tournament history, a double OT! 96-95. I would say Arizona escaped an upset at the hands of Gonzaga who have in previous years done some serious damage in tourney.

What a great game between Arizona and Gonzaga, that would have been a huge upset had Gonzaga won.

Are any of you guys taking part in fantasy competition where you predict the winners from the brackets.

Texas faces Purdue today, than they play UCONN, they should make it to the final four atleast, I don't expect them to win it. I think Kentucky and OU will play in the final.

Let's goooooooo MD!!

top of the 2nd half, umd vs xavier, 54-40 our lead. who's with me now!

let's goooooooooooooooooooo Maryland! clap clap
let's goooooooooooooooooooo Maryland! rinse, repeat

let's gooooooooo MD!!!

Xavier is going to go on a run, and a strong one at that, anytime now. They're not one to just wilt away. Survive that and ya just might win. :D

ewww maryland. I can't stand them. Did anyone se the Gonzaga/Ariz game. The outcome sucked but what a game.

Go Duke

ve von!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arizona, Kansas, Kentucky and Marquette advanced to Elite 8

UCONN vs Texas tonight!
