it is how we are supposed to eat. ie human beiings are not ment to eat sugar and flour in huge quantities. if a caveman wanted to eat sugar he would have to spend the day tracking down a bee hive or grinding up sugar caine before it could be consumed. flour too had to be grown for a year and then ground before eating. these days everything is available off the shelf.
Cut out all sugar and flour. that is a low GI diet. you can have 1 toast for breakfast or cereal, one roti for dinner. the rest of your diet should be vegetables and protien.
you will loose weight if that is your goal. you will not feel hungry as your stomach will be full of good food. obviosly break the rules and treat yourself to the odd pizza snack or buscuit or chocolate bar. that way you will feel content to carry on with the new lifestyle, notice how i did not say diet. its not a diet its a new way of eating.
I lost nearly 3 stones on low GI healthy food. now people say im too thin, im trying to add weight but i dont feel like eating too many high gi foods.

I would like to add here that i am all for eating good and basically “pait bhar k khana khaana”
heck, i am a true Lahore buuuut at the same time i think its cruelsome to be eating all that fatty food on dialy basis
. We don’t realise the harm we are doing to ourself by eating all the junk food and we often realise it when its too late and we end up dependent on medicines :(.
