Well, marriage is a great thing, love or arrange - we have to remember that neither of them should take each other for granted and also should have respect for each others thoughts.

i totally agree !their moms ans sisters can never be wrong..if they are, at times, they have a valid reason of doing it !!! and they are the smartest thing on the planet..wives who keep saying 'mujay kuch nahi pata..aap jesa kahayn kar letay hain' typos are the best for them !!

I dunno, I guess we are very blessed because aside for a few rocky months the first year, I have never had any doubts and having been married almost 9 years, the love, respect, and passion has just grown throughout the years. I mean, we are grown adults and even after being married for SO long, we hate being apart, when I travel for work, we're like teenagers on the phone until the wee hours of the night. I guess I should just be very thankful.
There are different stages of love, you are not going to stay in the so called "honey moon period" throughout your whole marriage. Your love in the beginning is exciting, new, different... you want to be with one another 24/7. You're on a constant high, but once all those new emotions subside, it's replaced with emotional dependancy. You become dependant on them, and vice versa. It's only after a good few years you truly appreciate the other person, and accept everything about them I.e their weaknesses, their flaws etc.

Love is a Hoax
The only reality is Satisfaction, Trust and Respect for each other. Marrying some one purely & only because of love is like a ticking bomb. Just wait till reality hits and BOOM, you'll be out of your dreams. Let not love be the ONLY reason to get married. Marrying a HUMAN is far better then marrying only a lover.

Something no one ever tells you that I have learned from my friends just NOW is that the first few years of your marriage are the hardest where as some people believe those are the best. Confusing.
Another friend mentioned while we were having the same discussion that once you are married its about bread and butter, its about the necessities of life, love doesn't even matter when you are faced with these tough realities of life. Scary. Very scary.

I sometimes fiercely fight with my hubby and believe me when it happens i feel hating him so much that i can break dozens of dishes on his head hehe. j/k. we love each other a loottttttttt and we never doubt about each other as well as ourselves.
