As far as Gurdaspur is concerned, here is an excerpt from an article
Gurdaspur was the key to the Fraud in Kashmir accession

Now here is the story. Gurdaspur district had a slight edge of muslim population i.e., 50.6% if and only if Ahmadis are counted as muslims. otherwise muslims would be a minority there. If you guys consider Ahmadis as non-muslims then the propaganda of injustice done by Redcliffe will be a baloney.

so how did the majority part go to India?
