an interesting but sad story…even more sad to read how Qadir refused to return, fearing his homeland too was turning into what Bosnia went through in 1990s. anyway, Pakistan is changing very fast and i am sensing some good days ahead…not an emotional view but grounded by some recent corporate experiences.

Very sad story. U will find many such ppl in streets of Italy France Germany n other European countries. They r not only from pakistan but from India Bangladesh some arab n African countries as well. I myself met a few of them in different parts of Europe. Common reason given by them is they have spent a lot in reaching here. Now how they can go back without recovering n earnings more as they dont see them self doing aNY more good back in pakistan .
I remember a young guy I believe from Gujrat in suburbs of dresden told me his target is to catch some old lady n marry her. He was a handsome boy of hardly 20 .. 23 years
