This movie tells the story of Omar Mukhtar, an Arab Muslim rebel who fought against the Italian conquest of Libya in WWI. It gives western viewers a glimpse into this little-known region and chapter of history, and exposes the savage means by which the conquering army attempted to subdue the natives.*

Part 1
i have a question all of these heroes did what? i know he fight against italian/french rule in northern Libya/Morocco.. but he was captured and hang in the main city square !
sowhat’s the point of celebrating, he didn’t accomplish anything or did he?
They fought for the sake of Allah and died with honor.
They didn’t bow down to this dunya like most people do nowadays.
They were men unlike some of today’s men who are cowards, even hijras have more courage than today’s men!
this is for you and people like you:
The Mujahidin do not need you half men, with no resolve. They do not need any advice on Jihad from scholars who are paid for and defeated. They do not need to ask if it is okay with you or if there Jihad is compatible with your thinking. No, they do not need that. They have all the wisdom and the vision that they need. Die in your rage and continue your criticism of the Mujahidin. You cannot destroy their resolve; your poisoned pins will not affect their Jihad. Nothing will affect them.
Yup they are shot in the head and their balls were cut, and didn’t even receive proper burial because most of these warriors bodies were torn into pieces !
yup they bow down their asses in front of warriors, after all some time not even goat’s are available in caves.. eeeh.. !
you can’t even compare hijras with talbanic warriors - these goat-lovers are totally different species only these low-life scum can attack innocent children/women and slaughter unarmed & captured soldiers. real men don’t do this.. right?
if the account of the movie is historically accurate, then he was indeed a great and honorable man. I saw it when I was a kid.
but if anyone thinks that they can use Omer Mukhtar's example to justify their support for terrorists who are trying to destroy Pakistan, then they need to get back on their meds asap.
the most important point to note is that Mukhtar defended his country against an outside force. in this case, the Pak fauj is defending their country, our country against terrorists. so, today's Omer Mukhtars are the brave soldiers of the Pak fauj. today's Omer Mukhtars are those brave commandos who embraced certain death at the hands of terrorist taliban but did not give up. today's Omer Mukhtars are those Pakistani policemen who lock suicide bombers into bearhugs and sacrifice their lives so that innocent Pakistanis can live. today's Omer Mukhtars are those brave Pakistani journalists who go into dangerous areas and report the truth even if they pay for it with their lives. today's Omer Mukhtars are those brave fathers who willingly send their sons to Swat, Waziristan so that they can fight for their country.
