The saner and liberal views in India are far too few and to in-between to be drowned by the vast majority of fanatics. Just look at Indian media their whole world and reason for living is Pak hatred.
Unfortunately india is going through the same phase that pakistan has been 30 years ago. This religious fanatics will not help any one. At the moment , it may feel very good for many hidus in india as they show their hindu power to minorities. But once this Jinn is out of the bottle , no one can control it and soon it will haunt and bite back.
If this continue , I can expect many hindus being killed on the name of religion in india same as many ppl in pakistan are nominated as kafir and get killed.

Yes it is . But that really happens. Now In PK it is easy to put Gustakh e nabi on some one ( even he /she has done such act or not ) and make them run for their life…
This can happen in india as well. There are many hindus who dont follow the very conservative religion and they speak up about it is well. If these religious extreme right siders continue to be strong , one day they will target these ppl as well.
My friend who lives in NJ , is part of South asian community group. They arranged a meeting for all members of the community. I saw the video of that meeting . One very interesting comment I heard which made me think to ask this question.
All emphesised that what ever is happening in Subcontinent has nothing to do with ppl in ameraica. They shall not fight with each other on this issue as all are now american. One Indian retired Col. he told , I am an american and have oath to be loyal to america. So in case of war between America and India/pak , I will fight for america… It wud be interesting if others living in America or in Europe give their opinion about it.
