the lesser and gr8ter signs of qiyamat as told by prophet mohammed (pbuh)

I’m searching for hadiths that have these quotes but some of them I can’t find. I wonder if these are really the words of Hazrat Muhammed:saw:…I think reference should be provided for those who are not well acquinted with hadiths..

It is the responsibility of the person posting anything from a source, to provide the appropriate reference. This is what the rule says. If some one else has the correct reference, they can provide it. In this particular case, I don't have any reference for this entire list. Do you?

NO. But i was curious what if u have it, will u provide?

I like this rule the most. If you allow someone to post a hadith without asking for its reference then soon people will be making up stuff themselves. Isn’t it scary? I myself wouldn’t believe in stuff posted without a reference because it may or may not be words of Hazrat Muhammed :saw: but I know there many people who will blindly accept anything that says "so the Prophet Muhammed :saw: said [as PA mentioned in another thread]. So I will agree with Faisal!

Agreed. But my question remains unanswered so far. What if mods can provide the references for such stuff if they have. But they on the other hand will lock it.

Gadha, yeah mods should post the reference if they have them already but I don't think it's mods job to look for reference. If people want to share information then in my opinion it's their own duty to provide the reference..

Hi,

Hundreds of messages are posted in these discussion board daily and it would not be possible for moderators to search and then post references for the posts that are originaly posted without a reference.

well, if the stuff is correct and they have the references, I assume being muslim it's their job as well to spread it rather than lock it. Just my opinion:).

who said they should search. I was merely asking if they already have them available. ANd for such thing if they are honest and have the reference they should provide it with the intention of getting reward:)

Yup I agree with you on that and I think Faisal did mention that he doesn't have the reference for this entire list and I myself can't find some of the quotes in the collection of hadiths that I have...

Maybe because there is no real reference for such signs is the greatest sign of all.

If I had ready references, I will be most pleased to post them myself, instead of closing the discussion. Samarra routinely does that for articles posted in WA forum too. So thats not the issue. The issue is, members should not make it a practice to post un-referenced stuff and then expect mods to post references for them.

We all agree that in religious discussions, we'd rather spend a few more minutes to post the correct information after verifying, rather than spreading incorrect information by rushing it.

If you really want to know the major and minor signs of the day of judgement, spend 25 bucks and get Anwar AlAwlakis set of 7 cassettes called "The Hereafter". He discusses the major and minor signs in detail and he does it only in light of quraan and sunnah of prophet Mohammed(SAW).

Hope that helps

Thank you, Faisal Bhai.

Without doubt, if one of us had the references, we would have posted it immediately.

Alternatively, please, if someone reading this thread has a reference, then feel free to PM it to one of us. I am sure that would be appreciated.

I am glad to hear the responses from the moderators:)

good job :flower1:
