Sri Lanka is playing their 1st Test in Australia this year. Out of 12 Lankan wickets, 6 were LBWs. In the Aussie 1st inning, 2 (out of 12) were LBW. Which included the last wicket (so only 1 out of top 9 wickets was LBW.
One ump was England, and the other Indian. The TV umpire and another umpire are English (and probably NZ).
One recurring theme is the Aussie bowlers always give a good shout. Of course, if a South Asian bowler over appeals, the south Asian team is considered boisterous and lacking discipline.
Now I have not watched this match. It is entirely possible all decisions were fair. But seeing the low scores I decided to check my hypothesis. And the results - same old same old.
Thoughts? Brick bats? Concurrences?
Be gentle. And kind.
