Yeah FG, I am sure he gave you the tip all the way to prove that it was nice and round, however, Mr. bhutto was very fond of his wine and illegal power , maybe you have forgotten that he actually lost the election and then prolaimed this famous sentence "VahaN tuM, YehaN hum".
FG, did he repent for his mistakes, not to mention he was involved in the plot for mureder of several of his political opponents. You tell me, does the murderer deserve sympathy and namaz-e-janaza?
I’m an staunch opponent of people like Bhutto, but praying namaz-e-janaza doesn’t mean his sins will automatically be forgiven. His family/followers should’ve been allowed to pray namaaz-e-janaza (if not done) for him and let God be The Judge.
Did he really? It was no mystery. It was all over the news the next day. Yes, even in Pakistan all newspapers carried this story. How exactly did he pay for his sins?
I dont want to argue about something that happened 26 years ago, if you want we can offer a ghaiban namaz-e-janaza...what do you say? I wonder if it can be done via VOIP/netmeeting?
apart from books written on the topic, which are either tilted one way or the other most of the time, a passive analysis of Bhutto's case discussed in his book "But I wasnt an Indian Spy" by Maj Retd Mohd Akram Khan is a good neutral read.
FG, I am talking about news, papers were run by zia or not it was reported that he was hung…so what is your beef? Yeah, go ahead and offer namaz-e-janaza for someone who divided your country, introduced terror and real killers into provincial and national assemblies and perched the most cruel of them all in Governor House Lahore. Do you know how many girls were kidnapped and raped in that Governor house when this little pithu of your so called leader was in charge? Now we are done talking.
and not forget what happened in the then East Pakistan. But then Zia had his own problems, the way he handled Afghan refugee issue, created MQM to counter JI and handed them weapons, all these leaders should’ve been shot in the eye, cut one ear and left to live with stray dogs.
While I agree with a lot of what ZAB was accused of after 1972 (allowing the killing of political opponents etc)..there is a simple question to ask anyone when they bring up East Pakistan..how many divisions did ZAB command in the Army?
captain was that said as a military order?..he was self centred and had an inflated ego..but anyone who knows anything about a Fauji government knows what they think of civilians when in power.. so why would they take orders from a civilian?
Killing someone for greed, anger, personal revenge and such if not repented for in time, to my knowledge excludes some from Islam...
But so does not praying 5 days in a row...
It's with Allah to decide...
All I know, his ingenious foregin policies rocked the world but his internal politics caused much strife...But probably that was due to his attentions focused upon foreign policies including the making of Pakistan's Nuclear capability...
I believe he might have been a powerful asset to the Muslims, despite his mod-Muslimness...
