Has to be Hawaayein(1995)…*ing Ghazala Kaife, Talat Hussain and some other awesome actors.
I don’t think they made anything near that drama since…it’s been such a long time since I watched some awesome drama serial on PTV…

I think you're missing dramas of political connotations. I for one
am so glad we have other things besides stupid feudals to discuss.
I never understood why so much attention and recognition should
be given to these jerks by telecasting their culture nationally and
internationally.

That drama just totally put me to sleep. I know it was very realistic but boy was it a headache to watch!

Well I can imagine. On it’s first run it got so tragic towards the end that I just couldn’t put up with it…but on the various re-reuns PTV has put it through I totally fell in love with this drama. It was so realistic and yet had such an entertainment value…they ought to make such hard hitting stuff again.
Then I’ve heard a lot about Baadlon per Basera, but of late I’ve gotten totally fed up with these phaaren filmed drama serials cum travel documentaries. They totally suck. Make stuff in Pak plz, like the good ol days, when scripts and acting counted - not the amount of make up [mistaken for “glamour”] and the type of furniture used on the sets in the drama!
