Re: The Last Film You Saw
Makes absolute sense yes… I have always loved horror. ‘It’ was the first Stephen King novel I ever read. I discovered it at an aunts house one holiday, hid it, and read it over that Summer. I was 8 or 9 years old at the time and had no business reading such an adult book! I went on to read all his others and of course found different authors in the same genre.
I have found that the older I get, the more I lose my taste for certain things. I have not, for instance, been able to watch the movie The Babadook because it involves a single mother and her young son (I believe in the movie he is the same age as my boy.) That just hits way too close to home for me lol!
If you finish the book, do let me know your thoughts on the scene in question. I will not ‘spoil’ it for you but to give you an idea as to where the scene comes in the novel; it happens at the end, when the children are trying to find their way out of the sewers.
