Just saw the trailer. I’ll watch it soon.

Re: The Last Film You Saw

I saw IT
I had read 100 pages of the book IT, no I wish I had not seen the movie. :frowning:

Re: The Last Film You Saw

You too like horror :lifey:

Re: The Last Film You Saw

If you should choose to finish the book just be aware that there is a very controversial “scene” at the end that has never been depicted by either of the two movies made (I don’t think it actually could be from a legal standpoint.) Most people find it utterly sickening and it isn’t any of the “horror” stuff either.

Re: The Last Film You Saw

IT didn’t scare me at all, in fact I thought it was kind of boring, kids loved it though.

Re: The Last Film You Saw

after reading your comment I might read it.
I read Geroge’s little brother incident. How ever sad it was it was so much apart for say.. jewsih guy dying in the bath tub.
But in movie it was so sad to see Geroge suffering.

I watch every horror thing .. These days I have problem with horror movies.. they break your brain with sadness. and the show some horror stuff.
IT sort of did that in the movie format.

Only reading book for 100 pages, I know this would not have happen.

I hope this made sense

Re: The Last Film You Saw

Makes absolute sense yes… I have always loved horror. ‘It’ was the first Stephen King novel I ever read. I discovered it at an aunts house one holiday, hid it, and read it over that Summer. I was 8 or 9 years old at the time and had no business reading such an adult book! I went on to read all his others and of course found different authors in the same genre.

I have found that the older I get, the more I lose my taste for certain things. I have not, for instance, been able to watch the movie The Babadook because it involves a single mother and her young son (I believe in the movie he is the same age as my boy.) That just hits way too close to home for me lol!

If you finish the book, do let me know your thoughts on the scene in question. I will not ‘spoil’ it for you but to give you an idea as to where the scene comes in the novel; it happens at the end, when the children are trying to find their way out of the sewers.
