The last 10 lbs!!

argghhh

I thought i would get to my goal weight…and I am just like 10 lbs away…shouldnt have been a big deal…

but I am stuck…stuck in a way that i am not controlling anymore…even though I really want to…its sooo annoying…good thing is that I am not gainin any..otherwise I know I would have just given up everything at all…

how do u guys manage to get over this kind of situation…???

What's your work out routine?
May be you need to increase your time
or throw in something different.
Also you could be losing in inches even though your scale isn't showing.

I am also kinda stuck at the same number on the scale. Infact I gained 2 lbs.
I am pretty sure it's not fat but when I measure myself it comes out the same as before. It can be pretty frustrating.

^ its the exact same case with me....i gain a few pounds but the measurements are the same....but then...its weird...cuz i lost 2 kgs last month and my measurements are still the same when my weight stays less...

I was usin treadmill for 35 minutes 4 days a week...I think I am gonan switch to pilates...I have those cassettes from winsor pilates that I have never used for the last 2 years..haha....maybe its about time i put them to some use...

Well I eat normal regular meals just in a lesser quantity.

You should try pilates again. They were very popular a couple years back.

for me the last few pounds go with a low fat low cal diet and LOADS of cardio!! don't forget to do some weights too! this will burn off the calories faster!!!

Make sure you are doing weight training as well. You loose weight faster when done with combination of cardio and weight. I lost 8lbs and then it stopped. Now I am not loosing any weight, just loosing inches everywhere :D that means gaining muscles and loosing fat in your body, which weighing scale would not show.
You do not have to do hard core machine workout . Start from free weights and then later add some machines.

dump the treadmill and go for the elliptical or the arc trainer... you need to up your intensity of training i believe if you want to combat the last 10 lbs... its such a pain- i'm in the same boat... i do the arc trainer for 30 minutes and i do weights for 30 minutes and i really have to watch what i eat- its a pain but i hope it'll be worth it in the end!
also your muscles gets used to the same workout over time and then its not as effective- so vary your intensity and speed- choose the interval option on any machine you get on cos it'll vary those two for you. even when you do weights, switch between exercises without giving your heart a chance to slow down. so if you're doing two different kind of arm exercises with weights, go from one to the other and back again without resting in between.
also remember muscle weighs more than fat, so figure out weight loss by how your clothes fit and by whether or not you've lost inches... don't go by the scale.

when you guys talk about weight training....so we have to go to the gym to do that...is there any way we could get some dumbells and do it at home

you can do weights at home or anywhere really!

for some exercises you just need a simple bench or an exercise ball but for a lot of them, just get a yoga mat and you can lie down on that if needed.

you can try pilates with free weights as well.

It makes you sore like anything....Best thing about this workout is that one instructor shows you easy exercise and at the other instrutor will show advanced, so you can try either or switch at the same time.

alishaht you can try 5lbs...it works well.

If you once stop yourself from eating too much, and abide by it, eventually in a short time, you'll automatically start consuming less food.

Put little on your plate, and don't go for desserts.

Fruits and a glass of milk should help.

Sajal...I have been lazy and did not use this DVD regularly...instead I do weight training at gym. However, whenever I used this DVD, I was so sore for 2-3 days. If you follow every step in this DVD, you will sweat like you just ran on threadmill. And I do know this for a fact if anyone uses it 4-5 times a week, they will start sculpting....you just have to be very very consistant.
