The Kiyas ..Versus...The Karas

Which camp do you belong to?

Are you among the normal ones that say “kiya tha” “kiya hai” “kiya hoga”…? If so, let’s salute each other!

Are you among the unfortunates that say “kara tha” ..”kara hai”…? Why? Why must you do that? It sounds sooooo baaaaaddddd. :crying:

Kiya all the way. :chilly:

Just take a clue from the vast majority of movie titles and songs.

Was it......

Mainay Pyar Kiya....or.....Mainay Pyar Kara?

Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya.....Pyar Kara to Darna Kya?

I use kerdiya too. Kiya just feels more active, kara sounds passive.

is thread k creator ko 20 topon ki Salami :smokin:

I only heard karachi aunties say kara.

Now I remember, I heard it when I was abroad. There were few Karachities in my gathering

Btw I am thinking to bring male version of PCG

Some Karachities speak very refined Urdu, the pure sakeel Urdu though. Urdu is a beautiful language. Can outshine any other language if spoken properly with right words.

Yep....jeera, jindagi, jabbardast, are nails on a chalkboard for us Pakistanis, but melodious-sounding to our next door neighbor. It deserves a thread of its own. In the meantime, the only way to fight back is covert the j's to z's.

Zaadooo teri nazar.....Tera zaadoo chal gaya...

Karaa is bad, karii is worse.

Team kiyaa here btw.

Is this the same debate as "Abey" v/s "Array"? Or biryani v/s Pilao
