There was no effort of MR for anything above , And if you have a mind more than being a 'Nirralla' you can think and feel that how this media was doing propaganda against PPP and present ruling elite . They done worst against Zardari and PPP . On the other hand Malik Riaz's paid and purchased media promoted Imran Khan till Quetta 'Jalsah' If you have a very little brain .Use that for thinking . As far as negative publicity of PPP is concerned they are ruling the country, and the situation of the country is infront of every one. **Islamabad: a whispering campaign against Dr Arslan iftikhar Chaudhry, a son of Chief Justice of Pakistan, has been roiling the country for the last few days and finally it ended up with the Supreme Court taking suo motu action.

The main character behind the episode is Bahria Town chairman Malik Riaz Hussain who claimed to have funded several sojourns of CJ’s son and also provided Rs 30 to 40 million to receive some favours from the country’s top court in various cases pending before it.Some political analysts say the PPP government is behind the campaign against the Chief Justice as Malik Riaz enjoyed good relations with President Asif Ali Zardari.Bahria Town is one of the largest real-estate developers in Pakistan and biggest housing society of Asia.
Bahria Town has projects in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad and is planning to develop projects in Murree and Karachi. Malik Riaz Hussain, the force behind Bahria Town, started in the 1980s as a small-time contractor. As competitors targeted the rich, he built for the emerging middle class, becoming one of Pakistan’s richest developers.Critics say Riaz’s Bahria Town empire has been fueled by close ties to the military.
Ayesha Siddiqa, a civilian military analyst and author of “Military Inc: Inside Pakistan Military Economy,”alleges that those links have allowed him to acquire land, in some cases returning a percentage to senior officers as developed plots.
Bahria Town is also alleged to be associated with losses to investors resulting from delays to the projects.

**ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that the court would decide about the allegations levelled against the son of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
Talking to journalists outside the Parliament House, he said that Malik Riaz exercises influence over the rulers. He said that how an ordinary clerk could become a billionaire and what type of partnership Malik Riaz has with President Asif Ali Zardari, all this should become public. He said that currently nine retired generals of the Pakistan Army are his employees and which politicians and generals he has bought should become known to masses.
The leader of the opposition said as soon as the proofs of allegations against the son of the chief justice would emerge, it would be decided as to how much money he has been paid. Whether this money was legal or illicit, it would be decided by the court but the issue is not only the son of the chief justice. This man has bought many rulers. He said he is struggling alone against this person and today when everything has become public, people should think as to how an ordinary clerk has become a billionaire in a short span of time. What type of relations he has with the son of the chief justice and which type of business partnership he has with President Zardari. All these facts should become known to the nation.
Chaudhry Nisar said that when Musharraf came into power in 1999 and the National Accountability Bureau took up many cases against him, this man absconded but later he became a favourite of Musharraf. The agreement of Malik Riaz with the Defence Housing Society should be put before the court. He said that what privileges have been given to a few lawyers, who consider themselves the custodian of the law, by Bahria Town and where the aircraft of Malik Riaz is used, which politicians and generals have been bought by him. Who are the people in the lawyer and journalist community that are supporting him? He said writings should be published in newspapers against Malik Riaz the way he is praised. He said a book could be written on the cases that are pending with the high court and Supreme Court. Lives of the people, whose lands he grabbed, have been ruined. These incidents should also be highlighted in newspapers. He said what could be bigger crime than this that an individual has used the son of the chief justice to get hundreds of cases against him hushed up. He said he has been a favourite of Musharraf and Chaudhry Brothers and is of Zardari now.
Criticising the rulers, Chaudhry Nisar said that whosoever has received money from him should compare himself. It is a story of crimes, in which the most important people of Pakistan are playing their role and give as much room to this person that no report gets published against him and the people whose lands are grabbed could not do anything.
Earlier, he said that the PML-N would continue its protest in the assembly. He said that demonstrations would be staged in Rawalpindi on June 10 and in Lahore on June 14.

PTI will have to take action against all the members who are thought to have had links with Malik Riaz including Hamid Khan, Vice Admiral Javed Iqbal etc. otherwise the party will be damaged. I think this is a good case which can be used to cleanse the black sheep once for all. This case has the capacity to make/break parties.

**ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry will resume hearing of 11 cases, including killing of a security guard and property confiscation, against real estate tycoon Malik Riaz and his son, Ali Riaz, on June 12.
The hearing of the cases will be conducted by the bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar, and comprising Justice Jawwad S Khwaja and Justice Khilji Arif Hussain.

Fasih Bokhari (Chairman NAB) called Muhammad Asif (of PMLN) in 1997 when the former was Naval Chief to stop talking about Malik Riaz in the parliament. His son/daughter are also working for Bahria Town.

President Asif Ali Zardari had offered to the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif last year to replace Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani with any nominee of Sharif if he abandoned his hostile campaign, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, revelaed in a TV interview.
“Zardari’s emissary who conveyed the offer in July last year was none else but his close friend Malik Riaz Hussain, the central character in the scam involving Chief Justicce Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry that has shook nation and judicial scene,” Nisar remarked.
He said Zardari had offered to make Shahbaz Sharif or Ishaq Dar prime minister.
Appearing on TV hours after the hearing of a suo motu notice over allegations against chief justice’s son, Nisar accused real-estate tycoon Malik Riaz of hatching a conspiracy to defame and destroy the judiciary by scandalising the CJ at president’s behest.
“Trapping and blackmailing the son of the chief justice is a grave crime,” Nisar said earlier while addressing the media at Parliament House. The opposition leader said that the time has come to tell the nation about the ‘deals’ between President Zardari and Malik Riaz.
He claimed that Malik Riaz spent money on influential people including politicians, judges, generals and officials and had even hired nine retired generals to fulfil his “evil designs”. Nisar accused Riaz of encroaching lands of thousands of the people, and demanded that the matter of forced occupation from his constituency in Rawalpindi should be resolved.
Nisar also alleged that some well-known lawyers who were in the forefront of the movement for the restoration of the judiciary were enjoying perks and privileges offered by Riaz.
Meanwhile, Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the government had nothing to do with the case of Dr Arsalan Iftikhar and it should not be dragged into the matter unnecessarily, according to a Press release.

ISLAMABAD: Differences between the top leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan could not be resolved despite an attempt by the former to pacify the latter some days back.
Firebrand leader of PML-N, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, developed differences with Mian Nawaz Sharif and Mian Shahbaz Sharif over their business deals with a property tycoon, Malik Riaz of Bahria Town, a person with whom Nisar has had hostile relations for quite some time now.
Well-placed sources in PML-N revealed to Daily Times that Mian Nawaz Sharif had approached Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan last week in his hometown and tried to pacify him.
As a result of the meeting, Nisar agreed to become active following his absence from the country for one and a half month in protest against the party leadership’s decision to join hands with Malik Riaz in business.
However, Mian brothers showed least interest in cutting off their business ties with Malik Riaz, who apart from other ventures has been a key financer in Ashiana Housing Scheme initiated by the Punjab government led by Mian Shahbaz Sharif that led to the resurfacing of differences in relations between top leaders of the party.
Sources disclosed that in view of annoyance of Chaudhry Nisar with top leaders of the party, Mian brothers are also trying to pressurize their old-time confidant by backing some other party leaders from Rawalpindi division.
Sources cited the meeting of Chaudhry Tanveer Khan, a well-known figure of Rawalpindi Division, with Mian Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind as part of their efforts to put pressure on Nisar.
Sources pointed out that the underlying message in the meeting for Nisar is that “either abide by the party’s discipline or face the music.” They said that because of this renewed contact of Chaudhry Tanveer Khan with the top leadership of the party, hoardings displaying pictures of Chaudhry Nisar with Mian Nawaz Sharif have also been replaced with the ones showing Chaudhry Tanveer Khan in some areas of Rawalpindi.
Sources said that the party leadership was compelled to come close to Malik Riaz because of financial constraints the provincial government was facing regarding launching Ashiana Housing Scheme, which the opponents believed is a political stunt of the party.
“The financial compulsions were so severe that the project would have been bankrupted, if Malik Riaz had not come to the rescue of the Punjab government to go with its project,” sources disclosed.
Sources said that although some party members might have some differences with the attitude of Nisar. “However, the way he is being cornered has not been received well in the party ranks, which believe the party would be struggling hard to find a leader of high stature like Chaudhry Nisar, who has proven himself to be the best and ideally suited opposition leader because of parliamentary abilities and skills,” they added.
PML-N Central Information Secretary Mushahidullah Khan, when contacted, denied that there was any difference between Nisar and Mian brothers at all and called all such reports baseless.

He is portraying him as an angel, and worried about the employees of Bahria town, not worried about the billions the pensioners have lost in the scam.
