I want to know if there is more to them than what I see. A person like that would make me curious. For instance, some people come across as just plain boring but once you get to know them you see a sense of humor or their wit or something else.

but for cracking their shell, you have to have a close relationship with them. At least in our society, that relationship can only be marriage. What if you dont find anything worthwhile hidden underneath the shell. Then what?
