I have been using the same cologne for the past 8 years…In my view, a person should have a signature scent, something that other people can identify you with…Like if they smell the aroma, it reminds you of them…
My brother on the other hand, has a variety of colognes…In his view, a person should change the smell of his cologne every day so as not to smell monotonous or become tired of the same smell…
I still stick by my view…What do you think is better?
Different colognes ofcourse. I cant be comfortable with using only one. I am using 6 colognes at the moment alternatively depending upon mood. However, my all time favourite is Eternity which I am using since a decade.
I’m undecided. Sometimes I think its better to have a specific scent and other times I like to vary.
Most times I vary the cologne from season to seaon. I wear Obsession or occasionally Boss Edition in the Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer its time for the fresher long lasting ones Aqua Di Gio Armani, Issey Miyake or Dunhill Desire but find myself going back to Obsession. I love the smell (theres a secret how to put it on) and women around me seem to love it too, so I can’t lose
I have a whole stash of others (Burberry Touch, Lacoste, Fahrenheit, Versace Blue Jeans) which I hardly ever use. God knows why I bought them
One scent on him. It's more sensual because just one scent then has the power to bring back all my memories of him and then he's all the more attractive to me for that. Many would just be confusing, jsut another guy.
I like both. It depends on the signature scent. If it's attar or Obsession or Old spice, NO (coz my bro n dad wear em). I like it either way. And hair gel and the bodywash they use is so fragrant anyway..
SarahSlendor - You are right :) Everytime I smell Obsession I always smile and think of him. I sprayed our pillows with it this morning after reading this thread.
I do use many different scents, but lately i been going through Heavenly-VS but i guess it is better to stick with one so ppl can identify it with you..
Haha Minah, I did something similar before I read what you did; brought out a small size of the one that I got him (Bvlgari Aqva). I keep picking it up and sniffing it. I hope he does not read this, it's kind of embarrassing.
Nobody likes guys with no cologne? I love his natural scent, it's incredibly sensual for me. I spent more than an hour in a store searching for a cologne that had a similar smell as his natural one but couldn't find it.
Sarah - I did to, but sometimes a certain scent can react with a body chemistry and it seems even better. Obsession does that with my husband, the scent on the pillow is not quite the same because it doesn't have his scent added into it to make it HIS. Ok, sappy here, sorry, but i really know what you are saying....
There was a guy I knew why wore Aqua Velva, the cheapest scent there is, and he smelled fantastic in it because the chemistry of his body changed it just enough to make it awesome.
