Although I can't fully fathom what you are saying above ... I guess you have considered this:
Even the Bible says that the 'god of this world is the Devil' to be amongst the chosen ones does not translate to mean those who inherit the Earth. We believe that the material luxuries of this world are predominantly for the godless and the best comes to those who fear Him in the Hereafter.
If you mean they as in the the Jews then you have misunderstood the meaning of chosen .... it does not mean favoured for worldly pleasures.
Really? Someone needs to come to my mosque, then, and take a look at the number of beemers, gas guzzling SUV'S, and Mercedes.
And no, they don't belong to the guys who sell the beer in the 7/11's they run, but rather belong to the most revered religious figures in the community. The kind that build mosques and do halaqas in their homes every Saturday.
