I am so irriated by this vuvuzolos and vuvuzeolats, that i feel no international event should be held in south africa.

no, i find it kinda interesting, new experience, I am sure its messing up with players heads though, how else would you explain ties by england, italy, portugal and france,loss by spain and barely winning by brazil and argentina..
i bet germans had earplugs

I don't mind it - it adds to the whole atmosphere...but i can see how it could be distracting for the players.
It's not worse than the horns they have at kirrkett matches though!

south africa is beautiful and what would a person like u know about hosting any big event,ipl was hosted in a short period of time and that to was a success,u dont need to like the vuvuzelas but respect the country its been through the worst injustices of the centuries...........................

I am fond of all nations showing pride in thier own ways and celebrating and showing support is part of football.
I tell you there are instuments far worse... i personally prefer to go into battle accompanied by bagpipes becuase that is noise to strike the terror of the lord in any mans heart.

Vuvuzela is a banned instrument in football matches. This ban was lifted only because of SA's traditional attachment to it.
So no worries. Once this world cup is over, the obnoxious vuvuzela's honey moon will be over too.
