It’s interesting that very minimal brand switch is taking place based on first three day’s pre-orders of iPhone5:

As expected huge chunk 63% of new iPhone5 owners will switch from iPhone 4S & 4 and 71% from all previous iPhones, while 29% from other brands…

That goes to show loyalty to brand trumps other things.
