Why do you ladies call each other cows when you get angry? I don’t get the insult?
I wouldn’t mind being called a bull all day
What is with ladies and fatness related ‘swear’ words?
Are ladies much attuned to how healthy another women is or how their figure is? I am sure guys don’t care if another person (other than their spouse) is fat or not. But with ladies the first curse word to come out is ‘you cow’. I had neighbours arguing last year, two women, the amount of times the word ‘cow’ was used was mind-boggling.
I am just asking why the word ‘cow’
Re: The insult 'cow'
coz it's pretty harmless if you compare it to b or f word.
besides it can also be used for men as in "gawaachi gaan".

Re: The insult 'cow'
So why do women say it as an insult?
Women are very weird things. Admit it.
Re: The insult 'cow'
Cow is fat as well as simpleton so when you call a woman cow that means you're calling her dumb and fat.
Pigs are quite cute too though.

Re: The insult 'cow'

lol
This is actually quite interesting how we associate animals with humans based on their common traits. Pig is greedy and lustful, mouse is a coward, donkey and cow are stupid and dumb, wolves are violent criminals with no morals, etc etc
I even started a thread in Philosophy on a similar topic. I think we can learn a lot from animals when it comes to self analysis.

Yeh, like others have said it's a pretty tame insult....that's why I use it. I call myself a cow all the time :D
Re: The insult 'cow'

Re: The insult ‘cow’
LOL this reminds of a sci-fi movie about a society in which people decompose their dead and turn them in to a greenish grass like supplement.
