I would also throw the Mirpuri culture into that too. Azad Kashmiris are worse than Punjabis.. well in my area.
But I agree another root of the problem is the PARENTS! I think when they arrived in this country they did not mesh into the gora culture and stuck with their own. Possibly due to racism or fear of turing into a gora and becoming like them? But they did not know how to teach their children - so what happens we go into a negative spiral.. parents cant teach their children because they can not relate to them.. children break away from Pakistani upbringing… children dont know how to explain their problems to their parents because parents did not or absorb the gora way of thinking…
