The ingredient : Bay Leaf

So what are all the uses of it? do you use it much in your cooking? do you think it has any taste?

Re: The ingredient : Bay Leaf

I use it when boiling rice or daal or even karhi and remove them when done…I can also go without it if I need to, it just adds a subtle flavor to it.

Re: The ingredient : Bay Leaf

Bay leaves here in UK are much smaller than the ones we get in Pakistan - also the UK ones taste little bit bitter.

Used in qorma, biryani, haleem and pulao!
