unfortunately, no. the indian economic boom was neither caused by peace with pakistan nor interrupted by frozen relations with pakistan. the sad reality is that peace with pakistan isn’t required and doesn’t make much of a difference to anything. it’s far too late to establish any kind of economic dependency on peace.
this is also why “talks” are always a charade. peace is not a strong enough incentive for india to do anything that is even slightly domestically uncomfortable and pakistan has never had any cards at the table to get it to budge.
