And the thign about tall women, that is so not true! I am short n fat n people think it looks great on me!
Re: The "in" thing
Sajal,
this pic above is of dhoti shalwar.....its not patialla..
for a second i thought the model was Neha...these new girls are following her big time...so im assuming Neha Ahmad is Pak's Malika shwarhat (sp?)
Re: The "in" thing
her name is noore..and it looks like she's jumped into a pile of maNOORE...lol..ok ok bad joke....she looks kinda scary...esp her eyes....
Re: The "in" thing
i know shez Noore...
i think she looks stunning.. i esp like what her feather earings n braclet...
Re: The "in" thing
I think her makeup looks too greasy....they were going for that sexy bronzed shimmery look but u have to be very careful with that....the shadow looks horrendous.
kukar khan get a dress that suits your body type rather than running after a trend that wont suit you....that being said i suggest you head into a boutique (if there is a desi boutique around where u live) and try on different styles (straight pants, bells, patiala, narrow shalwar, short/long kamiz etc) drive the shopowners nuts ...but it will give you an idea as to what suits you and then get something in that style while trying to incorporate some trends into it.
Re: The "in" thing
Is lace in, would it be cute to have a kameez (a short one )made out of lace, what do you ladies think?
Re: The “in” thing
^ I know i smell lace coming back and velvets in too

sweetdreamz everything looks really good on me, wat do i do?? :-/ hmmm maybe i should try a dhoti shalwar
Re: The “in” thing
ooo that sounds so hot!
i wanna get one made with a short slip under and straight pants…
more classier would be a whole sleeveless kamiz style slip under with a shalwar.
lace with some tiny gemstones on it …hmmmmmmm:blush:

Re: The "in" thing
Can someone please tell me what patialla shalwar is, is it another name for dhoti shalwar?
AND what are Kaftaan style shirts....
btw, I just LoVe velvet..... i've heard velvet comes in different qualities..not too heavy and not to thin is the best kind.
I have a outfit in black, one in dark green and mustard and one in very light velvet with self print. (which was very much in and not long ago)
