narrow pounchais are out.. I jsut got back from Lahore a few weeks ago.
the poinchais are now 7 inches thayar..
and the kameezes are shorter..

Let me give you an idea that I thought was totally hawwwwtt..

Make the belt of your shalwar out of lace… obviously put kapra under it but make sure the lace is visible… then make your chalks (kameez key) a bit bigger then usual and
the ghaira of the kameez an inch smaller then normal from each side.

Basically — this is the In design for Shalwar kameez in Lahore right now.
Dont know about Karachi..
