Re: The Importance of Helping one's wife at home
look islamically ususally you get reward for akhlaq e husna and that comes naturally. no where does the hadith say what a women can do or cant do its about the men helping her out. you get extra points for being nicer to your parents, you get rewards for breast feeding and all the other things that any decent human being will do by instinct. loads of women are working but are also pulling their weight around in the house as mothers and wives, there are exception in men that merely enhance this notion. How many super fathers are there making and earning and then doing more than the mother in house? very small number. but there are heaps of single working mothers compared to single working fathers.i'd say this hadith is about getting rid of the mentality that women arent doing any hardwork staying in the house taking care of the family ya what most people in pak say sub hi kertay hain.
