the Ifind green-tea propellers..

the decision was quick and instant - made in less than 45 seconds..actually we were given 20 seconds each to come up with a ‘genuine’ name for our team for the British Columbia’s Bike to work week. One of the workmates suggested name ‘green-tea’ for our team; her reasoning was we are perhaps the most echo-friendly tech company in town, we only eat organic and drink green-tea..and yours truly provided the most obvious half of the name..and it all fell in place in a snap..i really dig the fact that I work with such a creative bunch.. :rotato:

but, now the big question, who would be stepping up to provide a big boost to our commuted percentage..by the end of the today we stood at measly 20%. We have two dedicated bikers on our team who bike almost everyday to work covering a distance of close to 50 k. In fact one of them took the initiative of registration etc. I chickened out today as I was nursing my sore legs after running a half marathon yesterday, now four days to go..and I am planning to bike everyday..hey you never know we may even make headlines on the ‘National’..so when you hear ‘Ifind Green-tea Propellers’ and you go…‘Ifind…what..?!’…ya’ll know how it originated..

good luck :)

Re: the Ifind green-tea propellers..

And you tell me you're not preparing for the tour de france :p That's really cool though, I know even my bro-in-law in Canada bikes to work in the summer - must be a Canadian thing!

Re: the Ifind green-tea propellers..

^Vancouver is still treating you nicely Outlaw? Nice to hear. I know what u're saying about biking. I had an instructor back in engineering dept who used to ski to work when it was snowing, since he cudn't bike due to the ice :-)

Well, we won the top prize in Vancouver for 1-25 employees category with the participation ratio of 66.6% . My participation was lowly < 7% ....eek..team effort pays off ..i tell ya'..

We were pleasently surprised as couple of ladies just walked into our office and handed us the trophy..:)
