no…i believe that while money is a necessary thing [a tool] to lead a comfortable life but its an evil thing to have more than what u need. now, need is something that is variable with individuals. i think u must have enuf money to reasonably live comfortably and be able to help others in need…ur extended family, ur neighbours and ur folks in general. i don’t want to be rich for myself. i wud rather have money to help others.

r u selective in choosign friends?

yes…very! i may be very friendly to an extent like in indian railways language they say…“rail kii dosti aapke destination tak hotii hai” good friends are hard to find especially these days and especially for me who is modern to some extent but is basically an old fashioned person.**

Would you allow someone to comfort you if you were crying?or would u liek to be left alone?

i can’t be rude to that person…i’ll stop crying b4 my friend becomes sad for me.

Does your temper even get out of control? if yes then when/how?

hardly ever but i do keep FULL control over my emotions. only once i remember loosing my control when my sister got a divorce for no reason. i felt like killing the guy…i was young at the time but i was furious, and furious i was. i can NOT tolerate injustice to my loved ones, especially when its none of their fault. Allah dislikes divorce the most but has allowed it for irreconcilable differences. the divorce must be with husn e sulook. depart with good hearts if u have to God forbid **

never but came close. people in and around my village were scared of me because of my association to this outlaw who murdered many many people and who happened to be my childhood friend. after he gained notoriety, i moved to the city and hence wud not see him frequently. i’d limited contacts with him like when i wud come to village he wud come to say salaam dua and thats it but people were scared anyways. if i stayed in ma village i prolly wud’ve been his associate lollllzzzzz…

Can you remember when you last really laughed and enjoyed yourself?

almost everyday alHamdolillah…as a matter of fact, just 15 minutes ago, i burst into uncontrollable laughter :hehe:

**when my ex’s parents declined my proposal for marriage and gave a frivilous reason that since i’m a BORN indian i could not marry their daughter who happens to be a Pakistani what a lame excuse as if we were non muslims nauuzobillah **

a happy loving caring family…i just want to settle down in life with a family of my own iA soon

nope…i move on…forgiveness is the best trait a human can have…Huzoor [saws] was the best example when he after fataH makkah, he forgave everyone including his worst and staunch enemies who not only physically tortured him and humiliated him and his people. thats the hasan-e-usva :)**

last night, when my father came in my dream and asked me if azaan was called. i said not yet then he asked me to go and make azaan.

i can’t say NO to people. i’ve suffered losses due to my soft heart and inbability to say NO when that particular thing is entirely unfeasiable.**

offcourse, i’m a human being and when i see sad and disgusting things happening around the world i do get depressed and distressed and thats part of being a human being…even animals feel depressed…animal psychiatry is a new area where the business is booming **

sorry, par these kinds of questions are like comparing apples and oranges. i’ve to choose both and work on it to get a compromise…u can’t abandoned one good thing for the sake of the other good thing and besides saving lives is farz on us.

last movie you’ve watched?

i do NOT watch movies in one sitting or the whole movie in one stretch ever. last movie that i watched in its entirety was lagaan and that too for the love of cricket hehe. mind u that i used to watch 3 movies a day when i was a teenager and as a result i was short in attendance in every subject and i was kicked outta medical school

do u pity urself?

nope…thats the last thing one should do coz that wud not let u be objective in ur analysis of things and pin point a real cause of ur failure. one must not be too critical about himself either. it must be a rational thing

hv u ever secretly admired anyone? if yes then who all?

yes, my trainee teacher in school…she was pretty and intelligent…a combo hard to find hehe.

when people disrespect religion, elders, women, kids and societal norms in order to score a cheap point or to show they are smarter or more intellectual than others. i think when it comes to religion their reckless and blatant disregard for deen might land them in jahannam and that wud prove he/she is the stupest person on earth.

one must be very careful b4 opening his/her big mouth without knowledge that is true according to Qur’aan and sunna. meri du’aa hai k Allah aise logoN ko yaa to hidaayat de de yaa nest o naabood kar de…aameen [nest o naabood = destroy]**

when kides say6 the darndest things i enjoy it most. meri bhateeji ek baar apni ammi se kahne lagi k use neend aa rahi hai. bhabhi ne kaha betaa wait when the guests leave then we’ll go to bed. she said that to her in the kitchen where they were alone at the time. my neice walked in the living room where men were discussing politics asa usual, she makes an announcement…“guys, time to go home, i am sleepy” … lol…she was about 3 years old at that time and time was 11:30 pm haha

something you’ve achieved?

when i did my Ph.D and was able to use my title as Dr. coz i was kicked out of medical school and thats when my dream to become a Dr came to a screaching halt…finallly, i did it!

human dr to na ban sakaa and i think for a good reason. Allah saved thousands of patients whoi might have died at my hands…now, i am paid to kill but to kill plants…haha…i am Dr. Kevorkian for plants haha**

TRUE, our intelligence is mis-directed these days in this violent world. mind-power has been replaced by "muscle-power" and that too in a negative way. sword has been replaced by bombs. our mind has shrunk while aur arms have been stretched to have a global reach for our "hand-granades".

we, as a shaa'ir/adeeb, are shirking our duty to channelize the power we have and failed miserably in shaping our youths. i hope mindpower will again rule over musclepower :) aameen**

some of the good friends that i have always stop me from leaving. i, basically, go to urdu literary sites because i love urdu poetry kuchh apnii tukbandiyaaN sunaane to kuchh auroN kii sunne ke liye. i needed a change so i landed here on GS and quickly made soem good friends.

i spent first fifteen years of my life in a village where coffee, understandably, wasn't available. as i'm told that my dad wud dip his finger in the tea and wud lemme lick it when i was a couple of weeks old and since then i've been a TEA-holic. i drink 10 cups of tea a day for almost 20 years and 4 spoons of sugar in each cup [a total of 40 spoons of sugar in my tea alone] until a couple of years ago when i stopped taking sugar altogether coz i was diagonosed with diabetes. :( i still do NOT drink coffee...i never ever do!**
