This is a gross simplification and a total lack of information (if not disinformation!) that government has “agreed to all PTI’s five out of six demands” (just like the myth of PM resignation is unconstitutional was cunningly or ignorantly propagated as a fact nonstop - finally that rubbish talk is dead and buried). Just to bust that skewed but popular perception, PTI has now decided to communicate with Nawaz League in writing (something they should’ve done since day one!) and clearly you can see that Nawaz League is still not agreeing on re-counting of certain constituencies and there’s an issue on commission forming. Really? How do you defend that?

Good for you if you believe Nawaz Sharif family members when they take on the mic and say yes yes, we have agreed on all their demands, we’ll do whatever PTI tells us to do. Nope. It’s never going to be that simple if you know how Nawaz League works. The way fundamental disagreements are occupying all other points clearly shows political statements from the government was nothing but a smokescreen. They issued these statements as diversionary tactics, and their written communication exercise is exposing the little deadlocks that exists on these so called ‘agreed demands’. Of course, something will eventually be decided, bit to constantly hard that government has agreed all demands is gross simplification. People have confused Nawaz League’s willingness to ‘talk about’ other five points as their ‘agreement’. There is a difference.
