i have to agree with that art is priceless.
when an observer can appreciate the art piece and the energy it is able to elicit as in becoming inspired or calm, is simply in and of itself, a great tribute to the art piece and its dynamism, its effective affect on the observer/ appreciator's mind.
it's dinstinct and originaly aesthetic appeal, concept of figures and objects, their lay out, figure ground relationship, layers of colors, their tones and brushing techniques, the drawing itself, the painting's -ism used, scale of a piece, its depth, its focus/foci, and also the reason why the asrtist drew or paints an art piece are all reasons which will make the piece, pricier.
based on what i would like to get, and how much money i have to give for a piece, i would perhaps, save for somtime and then buy a nice picture if it is that attractive and contains that link.
