The high court cuts the kites: Hits our economy and Bans kite flying

Then people demonstrate and police does the lathi charge. What’s happening dudes and dudets?

A simple joyful act of kite flying is turning into a messy affair of razor wires, the laathis and the haathis (fatsos) of police walas.

Why can’t we have Pakistan Kite Flying League, that conducts school, college, university, and then professional level competitions. You set the standards for the string (dore), the size and material of a kite, and have a bear drinking, kite flying crowd doing wah wah, bow-Kaata all over the city.

Why these high court judges have to come down so hard on these Nazuk Kamaria (soft back) and colorful kites and kite owners.

Kite flying is a big business and pumps millions into the economy. Why do we have to do the paicha with some thing so important to so many citizens of our dear country.

Beats me.
