Great going! We always knew that ordinary baluchis never supported arrogant tyrants like this Nawab dude, blowing up schools, gas pipelines and challenging civil authority. This only further affirms faith of ordinary Pakistanis in the REAL loyalty of the baluchis!

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

You are living in a fantasy world.

The majority of Balochi's would gladly leave Pakistan, and will do so in the future.Bugti is just one of many.

And as for only three 'commanders' leaving as they being called, nobody cares

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

Don't forget to meet your ideal personality in Kabul, we will be more than happy to get rid of ******S like Bugti.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

This is the beginning... Govt has to convince other people that terrorism and sabotage will get them no where...

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

haha I am sure there is a haven out there waiting for them with open arms…LOL…

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

Also, thousands of Balochi’s kicked out by the Nawab years ago have been able to return to Dera Bugti and other area’s thanks to the Musharraf government.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

Now the latest news is that the nephew of Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti, and the only elected MNA for his JWP party - Mir Haider Bugti has defected to the government. If this is true this would be a devestating blow to Nawab Bugti.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

Pakistani Bugti tribesmen sit beside the heavy and light ammunition after their voluntary surrender Monday July 10 2006 at the local administration office in Sui, a town about 350 kilometers (210 miles) east of Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province, Pakistan.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

^ great going!! The whole "movement" is artificially propped up therefore it will come to its natural end.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

There should not be "clapping" and "cheering" when Balcohi miscreants are tackled. This is a somber situation that has to be dealt with, in a serious, and cautious mood.

Paksitani feds have bowed down for the last 60 years to the blackmail of Balochi sardars and FATA maliks. The fear of insurgency supported by Afghan government and Kabuli Kommies was too great for the Pak feds to go in and set up the rule of law.

With American + NATO forces in Afghanistan, the situation has completely turned around. This is the time to put massive funds in Baloch and FATA infrastructure mainly roads and rail in addition to electricity, water, and other utilities.

It will be OK to set up more police-stations and army forts in order to tame Pakistan's version of "wild west".

This is the only way to bring tribals into 21st centuries.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

The superior force (Pakistan) will eventually win the military battle, but up till now, the battle of the minds and ideas of the Balochis has been already lost. They simply do not trust or care for Pakistan's actions. Sardars can be bought but not the ideas of the masses.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

Dunno what you talk about "Pakistan's actions" that have to be "trusted" or "cared for" by the Balochi trouble makers.

Pak feds want to put more police stations, more army forts, more roads, a big port etc. Petty tribals will always resist these developments, because it forces people to get out of tribal life-style.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

That's the thing anti, we don't know if these developments will truly help the people or not. From past history, it makes sense that Balochis are suspicious. If you neglect people for 60 years, you can't accept them to believe everything you say overnight.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

Roads and ports bring prosperity to any region. Why it is so difficult for you to understand?

Police stations and Army forts bring peace that is a pre-requisite of any prosperity.
Right now Balochis go to Dubai precisely because of roads, ports, police and army system.

The same Balochis will be able to work close to home if we can all pitch in to create New Dubai in Balochistan. The best of all, there is no need to be humiliated for getting a visa in this case.

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

I wonder what Khehkeshan have to say about this?

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

did bugti not leave for Afghanistan in the time of General Zia as well??

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

How naive

Those people were brought back and paid only to work against Bugti, not because Mush or anybody else cares about them

Re: The heroic Baluchis: THREE Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti commanders, 20 others surrender

The greatest achievment of people like Nawab Bugti is to murder his own people and displace thousands. While the greatest success of the Musharraf government is to bring back these people to their lands in Balochistan, where they can now take on the tyranny of Bugti.
