When you think of it on that scale it is pretty scary stuff. You never 100% know what is going in to your system, even if it has 'suitable for vegetarians' written on it.
In Europe there is no 'halal certification' put on food, however I understand that there is in certain parts of the western world. It is definitely needed though.
