Ok so let’s play a game. Ill start by mentioning a few random ingredients in our pantry and you all have to prepare a meal using just those ingredients, no others.
Let’s give it a shot. When we get bored, someone can start another pantry.
So today we have:
Some lean beef… A pound of it, uncut
A couple of onions
1 large garlic
A package of mushrooms
Fresh parsley
Salt
Pepper
French bread
Olive oil
Beef stock
Lemongrass
3 Idaho potatoes
mmmm! we can use any quantity we want as long as we use all of it right?
beef, potato and mushroom stew...sautee a bit of onion and garlic in olive oil (not too dark), sautee the beef cubes a bit..add the stock and peeled potatoes, let boil and then simmer for awhile..add mushrooms towards the end. season with** salt and **pepper and top with lemon grass
french bread, brush on some olive oil and sprinkled crushed garlic and parsley, bake it in oven for a bit til crispy and golden
beef should be refrigerated or frozen, and not kept in the pantry. since the challenge is to use all ingredients and I have concerns about safety of the beef, i will just order pizza.

Ok here's my take on it ..
Grilled Beef Patties ... ( marinate it with meat tenderizer , garlic paste, onion, some parsley , then after a few hours grill it )
To be served with roasted herbed potatoes and Mushroom sauce
Roasted Potatoes : thickly cubed or wedged potatoes , fry them lightly in a few drops oil, then sprinkle , some salt and finely chopped lemon grass and rosemary ... give it a quick few minutes an then chuck them in the oven until the potatoes soften ..
Mushroom Sauce : Fry onions , add a tinge bit garlic .. add in the chopped mushrooms and fry some more , sprinkle in salt and pepper , finally mix some creame Fraiche with beef stock and add this into the mushrooms ... stir until sauce thickens , finally add in some thyme and the sauce is ready
French bread , mix some garlic, parsley and butter , spread this on the bread and in the oven until it crisps up ..
We have another refrigerator for non meat items but fresh produce, milk, eggs and juice, etc, in our professional kitchen. The one in the pantry is a deep freezer/fridge for storing meats and cold cuts

..
I LOVE mushrooms. I have to try making this sometime.
