The Gujranwala speciality..

Any guppies from Gujranwala ?
Just wondering about that special Gujranwala kay ChiRay (male sparrow)
I have heard that they make tikkas of those small teeny weeny birds
and it is considered a speciality.

Have never tried or tasted them myself.

How is it possible to have a tikka made out of something that small ?

Re: The Gujranwala speciality..

ji I am from Gujranwala :)

yeh it is possible... even the SALAN of such chiras are also yumyyyyyyyyy

though now a days they use some other kind of chiras called DAUGEY (Punjabi) They are a little big than Chiras. But not that much tasty as those of Chiras. Though cheap..... there are many other famous stuff in Gujranwala... like FRIED FISH... yummmmmmmmmy :p

Yeah, I've had it too when I went to Gujranwala. I would have thought that it tastes somewhat like chicken but that's not the case. It's a very different and interesting sort of taste. I liked it.
