Mysti can i make a suggestion?! i thought itd be nice if everyone got a shot at choosing the book each time, maybe in order of when each person signed up to bookclub in this thread? itd involve everyone nicely i think. also maybe the book chooser could even give everyone a choice of a couple of books and then we could all vote on it or something?
i think itd help keep things simple and organised and would give everyone a chance to share a book they really liked or are really interested in. what do you think?

we start discussing The Case of exploding mangoes on Tuesday and I opened up a thread for it and its been made a Sticky by UZ (thank u) so all the discussion stuff goes there :)

Im sending out an email and the order that you joined the bookclub in, please recommend a book that you would love to read and we'll all read it together. This way we all get a fair shot at different books and we can try different genres :). Just to keep things smooth for now we'll read Holy Women by Qaisra Shahraz :)

saimab33 we arent only reading books by pakistani authors.. it just started out that way but we're open to any author really -
Smilestar and devil - im having the same issue, Barnes and Nobles doesnt carry the book and its not cheap either.. not available in libraries here either for some reason.
Im going to compile the suggestion list by tonight and then we'll just start from that rather than complicating things. If and when we do find something we can read on our nooks and in hand we'll come back to it -

So since Choozy and Charmed one havent replied with book choices yet we're going with Sehryshs' choice "Home Game - by Michael lewis"
get your copies reserved/buy them or borrow from friends. We will start reading next week :)
