Alrighty so with Ramadan in full force we'll be putting a temporary stop to the bookclub. I think we should all focus our energies on our prayers and spend as much time in the masjids and with family -
The discussion thread for the book is open for any comments.. etc

i bought that book and found lahiri to be a bore her stories are long and drawn out, not very interesting and i was stuck in doha for 8 hours and still didn't want to finish the book.

Yepp we're up and running again - I might ask one of the mods to take over for me while im gone for Hajj but insha'allah until then we' re starting up again!!
