....
Graves should be simple heaps of earth, plastering them and building structures over them is forbidden.
OK, then make sure you will to make yours that way. Many people leave wills about the place and style of their final resting place.
However you or any self-styled Muslims have no right to tell others, about the appearance of their grave sites.
You should not try to be a Talib, be a human being.
When it comes to other people's hearts. As long long no one is messing up haqooq al Ibad, you do not need to worry. And your grave site is your personal thingy and not covered under "rights of other people on you" aka Haqooq al Ibad.
Did you get Ilhaam or Wahi that said people who are against grave worship are in favour of the Saudi monarchy and that they never condemn them?
Yes, I did get a Wahi. I also got a wahi that Abdul Wahab was a pedophile. Anything else?

Maybe not in Mecca-the-Holy or Medina-the-Radiant because the Saudis are atleast good for one thing
Yes, the Saudis are only good for raping little 8 year old girls because Abdul Wahab told them so. I've also seen Saudi Wahabis worship statues of Mauwiya in their houses. This was when I worked with the Saudi Embassy in D.C. Why don't you speak out against that?
but in our country Pak I've seen it many times at a local Mela, ignorants calling upon the occupants of graves, prostrating there and doing Tawaaf, that's worship.
No, it's not worship of graves; only in your little ignorant world it's worship of graves. It's worship of Allah.
I want to ask my pro saudi/wahabi friends here, how do u know that the Alawiya ppl who visist the kaaba arent prostrating to the big black box coz Imam Ali was born inside there? if proven then wud that give these stupid wahabi mullahs provide ticket to destroy the kaaba as well, nauzobillah?
wahabis know only how to destory. wat nxt on wahabi list to destroy? may b Moqame Ibrahim, hajre aswad? perhaps even the kaaba! coz its all shirk?!!? afterall its one big black box and we all just bow infront of it just like hindus do infront of their statues, nauzobillah!
and wht was it that mr Abdul Wahab unlocked and other Muslims couldnt for 1,200 years? these shrines have been around from since the Prophet Muhammad time. Did any sahabi destory them? did the khulafa destory them? when khalia umar conquered Palestine he saw several shrines of different Prophets, did he order destruction of any of them? did he not know any these "alleged" hadiths of the prophet to destory the tombs over the graves? r we taking Abdul Wahab word now above all others? inshaAllah his followers will be brought up on the day of judgement with Abdul Wahab too....Abdul wahab whom his own father and brother declared a 'fitnah'...somebody ask these wahabi mullahs whats their fatwa on collboration with the Americans, British and the zionisit? isnt that a pure form of shirk?
Not only the Hindus give the same excuse but even the Mushrikeen-e-Makkah in the times of our Prophet (S) would say that the idols they pray to are simply a Waseelah to Allaah Ta'aala, this is even mentioned the Qur'aan.
Same with Catholics who pray to idols of Bibi Maryam (Alaiha Salaam) saying she's only their Waseelah to Allah.
Yes. Its reported that the father of Ibrahim (AS) acknowledged the same thing that idols cannot do anything and the worshipers use them as indirect way of worshiping almighty. (Waseelah)
(This event and conversation is believed by muslims, jews and christians alike)
This argument is plane and simple even in your first post. .
Thank you for understanding. I have an idea why u said this.
The problem with such thinking by "self-styled" Muslims is that they are trying to look into the hearts of other people.
Secondly, for Hindus, their temples are "places of worship",
While no tomb is "place of worship" for Muslims. Not even the staunchest "pri-faqir" types. They always bow in front of Allah saw.
So it is time for the "self-styled" Muslims to worry about "THEIR OWN worship", tomb or no tomb. And let Allah decide the matter of hearts.
I do not think any where I made a statement which could mean people can see in other people's heart.
The discusion is based on what people openly do and say. You can refer to any of my earlier posts if still any doubt. I wil be glad to change that or explain.
People do sajdah to grave, they kiss and lick the grave, they walk backward in respect, they cry with tears and yell at babagi/pir sahab to bring all kind of goodies to them. Instead of calling Allah, they scream the name of babagi/pir sahab. Some details I would rather not discuss. Perhaps for some reason you might not have the chance to visit these places. And thats understandable.
Again, this does not mean that one should not tolerate people of other ideas. I would just agree to disagree with them.
If people are doing something wrong at the graves then we should destroy the graves. This is driven from the same logic that when a girl is raped we should imprison her because if there wasn't a girl, there would have been no rape.
any my dear Nosherwan, nobody is calling you a Wahabi because you are following Allah, prophet and his sunnah, you are called a WAHABI cause you consider Abdul Wahab as an Imam. Just like people are hanafi, malakir, shafai, jaffri - what is your issue being labelled with your Imam's name.
Peace All ... I hope my co-mods won't mind but this thread is a useless argument. Building of tombs or no building of tombs the issue is pointless until we factor in to the equation intent. They are makruh therefore disliked, but by desacrating the masjid nabuwi will be a fitnah which is also not wise ... in fact some ignorant people will lose blood over it. So it is better to avoid this topic entirely, and it is just as ignorant for those who propose to do such things.
Today Alhumdulillah the ummah is far away from shirk, even though there are some who would like to convince otherwise there is an account of a sahabi who wanted to restore the kaabah back to its original foundations but this caused a war even though it was a hope of the prophet (SAW) before he passed away. Now people have left the kaabah as it is. I believe the same applies with the green dome. Leave it as it is.
