Why not henceforth we call Dr. Qadeer Khan as “The Great Khan” or " Khan-e-Azam" in Urdu?

'The Great Khan' title has already gone down in Pakistan's history for Imran Khan. That is for his Sport feats.
Shafiq how would you support your suggestion in light of the troubles Mr A. Q. Khan has been in lately? His contribution has been significant no doubt, but a return of the 'lost glory' remains a debateable concept...

The current status of AQ Khan is also not clear and is questionable in all regards. What has happened to him lately has made many well-wishers and keen-to-work people insecure in their approach.
AQ Khan will regain his status whenever some public government will take control. He has just sacrificed himself to save some people, I guess.
From a public perspective AQ Khan is still a person respected every where in Pakistan.

Zuberi Sahib, I guess, people might be using the title of Great Khan for Imran Khan some 15-20 years back when he was one of the very few best crickets of the world. But in all those 20 years, cricket in Pakistan and internationally has seen a hell lot of more champs in the field. Plus, Imran Khan is not an ‘inventor’ or ‘pioneer’ of any extraordinary thing in the game or in politics as Dr. A.Q. Qadeer Khan or Qaid-e-Azam are. There is absolutely no comparison between Dr. Qadeer Khan and Imran Khan. After his retirement from cricket and entering in the politics, he lost all of his respect. There is no such a record in cricket set by Imran Khan which still remains ‘unbroken’. He is one of those great names Ian Botham, Lilly, Sunil Gavaskar, Don Bradman, Sir Garifield etcetera. While as Dr. Qadeer Khan has done something extraordinary not only in the history of Pakistan but in the Muslim world. Imran Khan’s title of Great Khan was simply in ‘passing’ and was an ‘street title’ while as Dr. Qadeer Khan’s title would be unmatchable forever.
Regarding troubles and sickness, I would say:
Shakespeare said," this world is an ‘stage’ and we all humans are ‘actors’…we come one by one on the stage, play our parts and walk away.
No dubious, it’s a matter of great sorrow and torment that the Great Khan is unwell but believe me, he has played his part for the country and the people of Pakistan. No one has lived forever…Einstein, Plato, Qaid-e-Azam even our belived prophet Muhammad(sas), every one has gone.
May God give the Great Khan health and longer life but even if tomorrow he will not be with us, his work, his name will live forever, till Pakistan will live. This is the reality of life!

It does not matter how long he lives because everyone has to go back n forth. What matters is the JOB he has done for Pakistan will live forever.

yeap. The JOB of supplying nukes to Iranian MAToos will live forever. Cesium has a half life of 2,400 years. I guess the world will remember this NaH AQK for 4,800 years for every pound of nuke he provided to Iran. Selling family jewels will sure make him equal or even higher than Quadi-Awam Bhaato, Quadi-Karachi Ultaf, and Rusom-e-Zaman Gamma Pehlawan.

AQ Khan is a national hero, and if he has supplied nukes to Iran or any other country, then this is our right. We had something and if we want to share it with others then no one has to do some thing with it. Many countries sell deadly weapons, each weapon kills some one. So if AQK has supplied this technology to some countries, and some one has objections on it, then simply GO TO HELL.

No Pakistani and Muslim on this planet could speak against Dr. Qadeer Khan. He is no way a ‘disputed’ personality. If he did something for Iran, you are forgetting the fact that Iran is also our Muslim brethren country. So by talking this rubbish, you just disclosed your identity that you are an intruder Indian on this page.

If there were ever two brethren countries Pakistan could do without. They would be: Iran and Libya. Iran is $hitting in its pants in front of Al-the-bara-dari while Gaddah-fi ma-fi has handed over AQK’s gifts to dear uncle Sam.
At the slightest of pressure from their uncle Sam, both of them f*rted with so much gass about Pakistan.
Both of these “brethrens” shoved their collective Islamic fingures straight towards Pakistan, and straight up the national hero’s hynie.
It is easy to blame someone Bharati, but it is much difficult to save our country from the riff raff MAToos among us. Lashkare Jhangvi brings hell to our Pakistani Shias and we laugh with pride, when Arrabobs blast our soldiers in Wana, we tell everyone how great these Arrabobs are. This is our true test of nationalism and we pass it with flying colors and a lot of hot gass.

very well said Antiobl…I agree with you hundred percent…it is so disturbing to see Libya and Iran crumbling under little bit pressure and providing all the sensitive information related to Pakistan to international nuclear agency within no time…and there is nothing hidden about it…
I ask you Mr. Shafiq under what logic are you trying to justify AQ Khan’s act of supping nuclear weapons/information to Libya and Iran?
Now that it is officially reported by the nuclear agency as well as by numerous well trusted sources that Iran and Libya did disclose their source’s name (Pakistan) within no time, I dare asking you Mr. Shafiq where was Iran and Libya’s Islamism at that point when they shot us right in the middle of our forehead?
Come on….wake up and smell the coffee…grow up and be mature…get out of Islamism dream…..there is no other Muslim country except Pakistan who would ignore its national benefits in such a stupid way….For God saje, why is it so difficult for us to understand the naive realities of today’s cruel world?

Well I am glad you came to terms rather quickly. Based on your statement, there is no higher calling. This Islamo-fascistic brother hood-hood is just a a little pecking bird being used by Pakistani MAToos.
When Uncle Sam calls, whether it is Ayatullah, or Roohulla, or hulla-goolla they all sell their brother called Pakistan.
And let’s not even talk about Labia’s Gaddha-fi. He never claimed to be hullah gullah or gulli-danda.
It is only Pakistanis who have to get the Thaika for all the namak haraam Mullah-Matoos like that Ben-La-Deen and his sidekick Mullah Umer Khayyam.

No doubt he is a great Khan, now its done everyone can say whatever they want to . but it was his consistancy and competence who made this possible with support from others.

I personaly dont think he was alone in supplying info to iran and libya. he just made a scape goat. ever wonder if ISI can keep an eye on every inch of country with reports going from all cantt to GHQ every evening. would it have been secret from them???

even Pakistan has provided info to libya and iran( where to buy these kits) or may be more. PAkistan hasnt broken any law. Pakistan hasnt signed NPT or CTBT.

Ofcourse Khan was a crook - look at what he did? not only did he smuggle designs from his employer in Europe (which by itself should send him to jail) but sold the stuff to Iran, N.Korea and who knows what else! How can he be a hero of any kind?

Neither is AQ Khan! Dr. Samar Mubarak etc are people who are inventors and real scientists, AQ Khan himself said that he 90% was already available, and he just had to find a way to get the remaining 10%.
