A manuscript (codex) has been found purportedly written by the traitor disciple, Judas Iscariot…
Haven’t read the whole thing, but the thing which comes forward as amazing is that in the gospel, it is claimed that mod-Christian Judas turning over Jesus to the Roman FBI was all an act…It was all pre-planned between Judas and Jesus that this will happen to ensure that Jesus is indeed crucified and that the prophecy is fulfilled…
Yet another vital addition to the theology of Christianity…
Some ministers are proposing adding this gospel to the already current ones while some are vehemently opposed to it calling it fake and a forgery…
This would mean an entire change of perspective for whatever was being taught in the name of Christianity for centuries…Would the Christians accept it?
The debate is still going on…The question also rises, what it would mean for the millions of Christians? Would they have to alter their entire viewpoint regarding Judas and Jesus? Was the betrayal even a betrayal or just an example of great playacting? Would Judas still be considered a betrayer?
The Vatican has been notorious in editing the Bible to enforce its ideal…Amazingly, no word from the Vatican as yet…But keeping their history in mind regarding the verse of ‘The Great Harlot’ which they removed and their stance on the ‘Gospel of Barnabas’, which depite having been proved authentic, is spurned by them because it mentions the coming of the Holy Prophet :saw: by name…
Anyone interested in subjects of this nature should really read Holy Blood Holy Grail and The Nag Hammadi. Absolutely fasinating and mind blowing pieces of literature.
It had its premiere tonight on National Geographic, a 2hr long special. What with all the interesting information being thrown at you it was exhausting to watch, but mind blowing too. Apparently Jesus told Judas that he would 'sacrifice the man that clothes me' which supposedly means Judas wasn't betraying him (as made out throughout the centuries) but merely carrying out the prophecy. The Gospel also doesn't mention any crucifixion.
So much mind blowing information, lots of research to do.
There were so many various and different forms of Christianity existing until around 500 AD, when the church based in Rome managed to stamp them out and arrive at a uniform versions of Christianity (which lasted until around 1054 when the church frgamented into the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church).
this is nothing but a lame attempt to justify their version that "he died for our sins"
so Caiphus is also no longer a bad guy and that makes a certain group of people very happy
btw the Apocalypse of Peter says that Judas was the one that was crucified NOT Jesus so that is closer to our version
Nothing in particular. All disciples are considered pious submitters and they even have the distinction of receiving heavenly food sent to them from Allah.
You understood correctly.. he was put on the cross.. but survived.. and then perhaps lived his natural life and came to his natural death like everyone else.
Jesus was never placed on any cross of any sort! Allah caused ascension of Jesus to heavens/sky in order to protect him from evil plots of, for our intensive purposes, Judas and the Romans only to bring him (jesus) back to kill Dajjal, among other purposes. Any other questions?
