I don’t know how authentic is this gospel…some believe this was the original…since it was discovered some 100 years before Prophet Mohammed :saw:
Wallaho Alam.
Among many things I read this interesting paragraph.
The priest answered: ‘After the coming of the messenger of God shall other prophets come?’
Jesus answered: ‘There shall not come after him true prophets sent by God but there shall come a great number of false prophets, whereat I sorrow. For Satan shall raise them up by the just judgement of God, and they shall hide themselves under the pretext of my gospel.’
Interesting. Followers of Moses get scores of prophets of God, whereas the Khairul Umam only gets 30 Dajjals! Great gift god has blessed the nation of Mohammad with!
Btw, why did Jesus not say, ‘‘I shall come after him’’?
The text or Gospel of Barnabas is believed to have been written about the 11th century in Spain and not a century prior to Islam as Smooth has refrred to.
More importantly - ONLY Sunni Muslim bookstores usually have copies on hand.

i have heard from my trusted sources that the gospel of barnebus proves that the trinity theory is wrong 100%.

Deuteronomy 18:18-19
“I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.”

THE Prophet to come was prophecied.
Deuteronomy 18:18-19
"I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him."

Prophets after prophet Mohammad have also been prochecized in the Koran:
"O sons of Adam! When Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing my signs unto you, then whoso shall fear God and do good deeds, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve." (Koran, 7:35)
And its not even the ''Koran of Barnabas'', its the one & only real Koran.
Case in point. What are the signs of Allah :swt:…Salat? Quran? Sunnah?
These are signs. If and when I explain something about Islam to someone unfamiliar with it, I am ‘rehearsing’ the signs and conveying the message of Allah :swt:…
In some translations ‘rehearse’ in Pickthal and Shakir, may Allah :swt: reward them, is translated as ‘narrate’ and ‘relating’ respectively.
And it’s Quran. There is no such thing as koran. Even the non-Muslims know how to spell it now. I would check the authenticity of that translation if they still call it ‘koran’.
^ Your commentary on the verse clearly shows that Messengers can come from within the Ummah, who do not bring a new revelation or new law, and only rehearse or narrate the previous one!
Prophet :saw: had the finest and best humans (after prophets) on the earth i.e. ahle-bait and sahaba . He got thousands of Wali-Allah who spread Islam from indonesia to morroco…saved hundreds and thousands from shirk and kufr…which they were practicing for centuries. Prophet Mohammed :saw: is indeed the most successful prophet whose sharia/Quran is still practiced today…and the followers even know how he used to brush his teeth and how he used to wear shoes. Millions memorize the words of Allah which he delivered in the ears of his companion…and since then…its been transfering from generation to generations. The influence that this one person :saw: made on the daily lives of Millions is uncomparable.
However…if Moses had Haroon and other pious Israelites…there were majority of them who reverted within 40 days… because of mardood…Samri. No different in this Ummah that it has so many false prophets…this is a phenomena…it has nothing to do with A prophet’s maqaam…you guys given a similar example in another thread…that jesus is in skies…where as our prophet is buried in soil…
Okay, this is gonna be my last joke on the religious forum. Its about how you said the Ummah of prophet Mohammad does not need any prophet:
"O sons of Adam! When Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing my signs unto you, then whoso shall fear God and do good deeds, on them shall come no fear nor shall they grieve." (Koran, 7:35)

and the 124,000 were not enuff????
He said He will send messengers, and He did....
doesnt mean they will keep on coming....
they came and went and Muhammad (saw) was the last one of them....
or if u want to interpret FROMA AMONG YOURSELF, then every house shud have a messenger na?
From the Gospel of Barnabas:
Then said the priest: ‘How shall the Messiah be called, and what sign shall reveal his coming?’
Jesus answered: 'The name of the Messiah is admirable, for God himself gave him the name when he had created his soul, and placed it in a celestial splendour. God said: ‘Wait Mohammed; for thy sake I will to create paradise, the world, and a great multitude of creatures, whereof I make thee a present, insomuch that whoso shall bless thee shall be blessed, and whoso shall curse thee shall be accursed. When I shall send thee into the world I shall send thee as my messenger of salvation, and thy word shall be true, insomuch that heaven and earth shall fail, but thy faith shall never fail." Mohammed is his blessed name.’
Then the crowd lifted up their voices, saying: ‘O God, send us thy messenger: O Mohammed, come quickly for the salvation of the world!’ End of Text
Sorry to burst your bubble guys but, don’t get too excited over the Gospel of Barnabas, It is a proven medieval forgery. Obviously written by a Muslim to win over Christians (of the time) to Islam via “the back door”.
Quite embarrassing! You people couldn’t even tell a fake if it came up and bit you in the rear end.
Mohammed (saw) NEVER ONCE in all his life, claimed to be a Messiah . Infact some would consider it blasphemous. Evidently this plagiarizer never even did his homework on Islam before he sat down to write a “divine revelation”, consequently getting Muslims five hundred years later all hyped-up about it… Chuckle! !
Even the Quran says “… Truth stands out clear from error.” 2:256
So practice what your “Good-Book” says and investigate before getting your knickers knotted in excitement.
Who is believing in it bro ???..we are discussing the gospel text and the way it was written…lotsa things which are considered as Islamic theories.
Anyway…can anyone shed some light on its origin??? because I heard that it was first surfaced before Prophet :saw: but couldn’t find a reference to any resercher. If there is no ancient historian who validates it as older than 500 A.D then…it is definetly written by a Muslim. Moreover…it also uses name Mohammed explicitly…more doubt…since no other gospel uses the exact name…but other names like Farkalet or something which also means… ‘most praised’ same as Mohammed.
maybe whoever wrote it, took the idea from this verse
Quran 61:6 And remember Jesus the son of Mary said: "O Children of Israel! I am the apostle of Allah (sent) to you confirming the Law (which came) before me and giving glad Tidings of an Apostle to come after me whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs they said "This is evident sorcery!"
