Who said mohajirs can’t be white. If you are implying that she is a former indian so clearly can’t be fair skinned. I think there are some white skinned people in india too. Most are khans. They are just not that common. I would say 5% of pakis are what you would consider white, in india it’s about 1%. But rest assured, they are well represented in crapwood. Funny how you don’t seem to draw the same conclusion about your country from a small minority of people that are face of your entertainment industry.

no, that isn’t what i’m saying…who has or hasn’t fair skin is irrelevant to my point. when you are talking about generalizations (whatever they may refer to) of a population of over 1 billion…minority exclusions often amount to the populations of many mid-size countries combined. i’m sure there are light-skinned mohajirs just like there are black-skinned mohajirs. south indians are clearly dark-skinned people…yet there are literally millions of fair-skinned south indians in roaming around. this stuff makes no difference to me.

i was simply pointing out the glaring irony in her remarks. lol, a mohajir talking about “us pakistanis” as if her ethnicity changed in 1947. whatever good or bad she associates with indians today would have been just as true or false in 1946.

like i said earlier, even though there are millions of fair-skinned south indians…wouldn’t you think it peculiar or funny if you were to see some south indian website displaying fair-skinned babies?

btw, its not just light-skinned that i was referring to regarding the banner. punjabis can be light-skinned and still look like punjabis…not european/irish/russian/whoever. it is misrepresentation on 2 levels - skin color as well as ethnicity. nobody on earth would make a first guess that those kids are pakistanis. i would even venture to say that there are certain muslim hierarchical insinuations involved as well…but that’s another story.

I think all these Indos have not heard the truth. I've met and seen so many Indians around me, you can easily tell they're Indian. How? They are Darker skinned than the average Pakistani, are not very pretty and have weird unkempt hair. My whole family is pretty "fair" and so the many, many people I know in Pakistan, if taht is some virtue. So stop pickin on those kids coz they're as Pakistani as they come. Good looks aren't a rarity on our side of the wagah, trust me on that. Pakistanis are better off coz a lot of us have mixed Turkish/Central Asian ancestors other than the Pathan factor too.

And Nikhil25, please let's not talk about "far skinned" south Indians. That's not even worth a laugh! I don't want to post the pictures of "millions" of those poor tsunami victims. We all know what they looked like anyway. That's real India for you!

these efforts of saying repeatedly that indians are as "clean" people as pakistanis would not make them really look like pakistanis. it is not only about good looks but about a better and healthy way of life and hygiene plays a very important role. if some of there models have learned to stay clean by interacting with other races of the world, it doesnt change the way how an ordinary indian girl lives her life. same goes for other people and even kids. i hate to mention kids here but the same was not thought of by the initiator of this thread. which shows what ugly mentality these ugly KEEERAS posses. first of all, have the guts to start such a thread having no clue WHO they are talking about. searching pakisanis people from GOOGLE.

the kids in the picture are in the minority in Pakistan’s population of 150 million. that is the point. whether pakistanis wil say they are dark or not is not the issue…they are. unless something happens to them as they get older, considering i have met a lot of them who very rarely resemble any one of these kids. It speaks volumes abut a illfounded sense of self within the pakistani community.

From my firends to the driver of the car services last night I took to get home..they all are not reflective of the picture being painted.
