Mashallah very nice phatti thanx for sharin :)

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

Always remember.

No matter how much the times change. No matter who tells you what. No matter how many people make something seem and feel right.

What your Prophet pbuh did, and what his Companions did. Should ALWAYS be your priority.
Establish love for them, and their ways. Nothing else.

DO NOT LISTEN to anyone who tells you things against their ways. They will make it sound as if its right, but if you deep inside ask yourself, would the Prophet pbuh approved of this?

I'll give you an example. People came to me and said, Music helps us reach Allah. Through Music we've gotten closer to Allah.

I won't tell you what I said to them. Think about it yourself for a second. Relate it to the Prophet pbuh and his companions.

Live your lives as the Ullema of today tell you. IF you stick to the Sunnah of the Prophet pbuh. You will have NO disunity, no Argument whatsoever.

The moment you go away and think you can do islam yourself...u' will see why muslims are not united.

Sunnah is unity. Our enemies know that better than us, and htey have already succeeded in taking us away from it.

Allah have mercy upon us all.

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

Jazak’Allah Fatimah for sharing these wonderful thoughts :flower1: … that is so true that we born muslims take our religion for granted which is quite wrong.. we out of all the people should be a perfect exaple of how a muslim is supposed to act and live our lives according to the teachings of Allah and Prophet Muhammed (P.B.U.H) .. may Allah guide us to the right path, Ameen :slight_smile:

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

phati nice that you know how lucky you are to have been born in a muslim family :flower1:

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

it is true that often those who have converted are more persistent in their practice and observation of islamic teachings.

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

Nice epiphany…You always cherish that more for which you have strived…

Their conversion, though guided by Allah :swt:, was an effort on their own part to learn…

We, the born Muslims, never had to struggle…We were born into it, handed on a platter, so we do not realize its worth…

Ask them what they went through…The years of confusion, doubts and suicidal uncertainties that made them come to Islam…

That is why, once they find the rope of Allah :swt:, they stick to it…

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

Difference between them and muslims who are born into Islam, is that they actually put the effort to find the truth. We have the truth under our noses and we don’t like the smell of it. Would rather stay away from it.

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

Or maybe it's because we haven't experienced the feel of not being a Muslim....

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..

We feel that everyday, sadly.

Re: ..::The Gift of Islam::..
