The GI diet - anyone here done it?

So for the insulin resistance issues I have, the GI diet seems to be the only one to be able to help out. I’ve been reading lots of reviews and its a diet where you can have rice (basmati) & pasta (whole wheat) so your not limiting yourself to carbs and can therefore build a healthy diet plan. Anyone here tried it? Any success stories? Anyone here willing to buddy up with me to do this?

My goal is to lose 20 lbs atleast before the end of this year which is 2 mnths and only then will I get new clothes made!

rice and pasta are high GI not low. maybe your allowed 5 or 6 peices of pasta or 3 spoons of rice, low GI diets consist mainly of vegetables and protien. It does work, as bread/flour/pasta and rice are high calorific foods, and vegatables are low, in both calories and GI.
