The future of Pakistan

The future of any country is of course it’s youngsters. The most important thing is what we are feeding to these individuals. The modes of information of course remain media and books. What are we teaching them? Yes, some westernization is needed for Paksitan to prosper; however, we must remain alert regarding maintaining our own values. Everything in moderation is the key. Finding better ways to run the government is very important.

Re: The future of Pakistan

The book that is taught in Pakistan is called "Ya sheikh, apni apni dekh"

Re: The future of Pakistan

^ so true,

but i hope that the new (cell phone) generation can step up and take care of Pakistan.

secondly the political system needs to change dramatically.

Re: The future of Pakistan

westernaztaion is important because we can now cannot afford mullahism and taliban culture but who will decides the boundaries and limits of his westernization ..... a single man having 35 years of military mind ..war tactics finder...strategic plan maker...or this task should be given to 342 members of NA and 100 members of Parliment so these 442 people unanimously..after months of debates..combinig thier whole potentials ....will decide..these limits and boundaries... i am not saying these politicians are "angels" and very learned but ...it is far better to rely upon 442 minds rather than 1 mind which is also totally capable of handling war and peace rather than politics.....

Re: The future of Pakistan

well i can chant the slogan about the "arrow" which was her campaign slogan once. I think anyone with an ounce of chichora-pana knows about it so I will shut up :)

now as far as the slogan we were talking about, with the attitudes of Pakistanis..politicians and public alike, it is more like..

Pakistan ka matlab kya
bhar mein jaye hum ko kya

Re: The future of Pakistan

Re: The future of Pakistan

I don't think Pakistan has a future cause everyone in it is in for themselves. They never have the unity of one nation and it wouldn't amaze me if it became India all over again. It's sad but true, what can you do?

Re: The future of Pakistan

I think Pakistan has a very bright future despite all the challenges and difficulties. As for as Pakistan becoming India, I doubt that very much. I think Pakistan would be a very hard pill for India to swallow, besides India has its own problems and challenges. As India is becoming strong economically it is in India's interest to have good relations with Pakistan.

Re: The future of Pakistan

Correct. That's why all Pakistanis should support Musharaf's 'enlightened moderation'.
