Talking about half fried egg or the sunny side up. Do you manage to finish it with one slice or two slices? usually even in road side restaurants they offer two slices with one fried egg. But experience tells me its only big enough to be finished with one slice and not two.
What do you guys think? logically speaking restaurants should offer jam or butter to go with the second slice :joel:
definitely only one slice of toast is enough for me.
unless we are talking about haathi-sized (i.e. jumbo sized) eggs…then I can stretch it to two slices.
its an art to eat an egg. if you are got your yolk solid, you are already out of the game. its like showing up to apprentice with van gogh but with a sledgehammer instead of a paintbrush
I remember there were days when i used to love a runny yolk and that would help me get through the second slice , only coz mom would insist and insist until I gave in ..then I started hating the runny yolk and now its properly cooked until its not runny and only one slice is good to go , I struggle to eat the second one with the same egg !
one slice of bread for each fried egg unless you have a swan egg…the whole family can eat from it if made into omelet. i take two slices with two eggs.
If you already have a solid yolk, then why not make a sandwich by using two slices.
I hardly eat bread with my egg. I love to fix breakfast for our family, at least one day of the weekend. Here is what I do.
I take one potatoe per family member and microwave it, peel it, mesh it and press it to small pancake shape and shallow fry it to light golden brown on both sides. That is my version of hash brown.
Then I fry an egg, and put it right on top of the potatoe pancake. Sprinkle some salt, have a little ketchup on the side, and use the spoon to break into egg and hashbrown at the same time when picking your bite. Yolk will run into the potatoes and will make it even yummier. No need of bread with that.
We add halal turkey bacon to that breakfast also, but you really don’t have to
Guac, you can go without turkey bacon. If you really want bacon, go to your local grocery store and pick a box of Morning Star brand Veggie Bacon strips from the freezer section. They are also really good.
