The french whine..again

Chirac told Blair he was “poorly raised” and said, “You have been very rude, and I have never been spoken to like this before.”

EU arguments are begining to sound more like the slams in Pakistani politics..Chirac for example sounded so much liek Pir Pagara in thsi statement that I am going to see if he actually is a mureed or related to Pir Pagara

Now, we know what Chirac said..what did Blair say to him to generate such a sentiment?

Blair must have started talking in English or in bad French, or Franglais. Thats's enough to set the French off. :)

maybe he asked if the french were planting trees on their highways, so the german troops could march in shade the next time. who knows.

My analysis of the whole EU situation since before 1992 is that the French have always tried to align the, mselves with the germans but for their own benefit each and everytime. I still remmeber teh whole fiasco on European Lavatory Flish Inpsectorate to check for water consumption and placement of specially sized bricks in toilet flushes.

It is rather interesting how they are now goign back on British Rebates and what nots. French thought that if they become germany's lapdog they can boss the rest of the EU countries along. Lets see how this plays out

Appropriate response would have been:
"Gee. You don't get around much do you."
